My shooting comeback: from the USA to world championship prep

In May 2024 I returned to competition after several years away. The restart was in the USA, together with my mentor and team-mate Frank Reiche.
At the CMP Bianchi Cup and the NRA Flagler Cup 2024 we took medals in Production. At The Tactical Games 2024 in Searsboro, Iowa, I finished third among more than 150 competitors. That told me the way back was working.
Training, analysis and motivation run with Frank Reiche. In the build-up to the main 2025 matches I was also supported by Klaus Hiendlmayer and Tim Kiesewetter.
At the German International Bianchi Cup and the 23rd ranking match 2025 in Alsfeld I started four times in Production and Production Optics and won all four. In Production Optics I scored 1,885 of 1,920, then 1,848 the next day. For me that was a strong match performance.
At the time the view was toward New Zealand. The world championship in Hamilton is now behind me. The report is in this blog.
