The journey, the training, the match
In October 2025 the NRA Action Pistol World Championship was held in Hamilton, New Zealand. The field was international. Before that came a long journey and an 11-hour time difference — the real start of preparation on the ground.
Several days of training followed, in changeable weather. Locally reloaded ammunition and equipment problems had to be solved on the range. The New Zealand Nationals were the dress rehearsal: same ground, different pressure, same discipline.
Then the world championship itself: four days at the level Action Pistol demands internationally. Michael Paa shot, among other divisions, Production and Production Optics.
