In the BDS I shoot several pistol disciplines. Steel Challenge and Speed Steel are different formats. Speed Shooting is a discipline of its own.
Speed Steel
Varied stages with more flexible layouts. Depending on the format, time or a direct comparison counts. Planning and precision are part of the problem.
Speed Shooting
A pistol programme at 25 metres. Ring score and time both count. A separate discipline from Speed Steel.
Multi-distance
Combines skill shooting and course shooting at several distances. It asks for precision with changing positions and time limits.
25 m precision
The group and the ring score are the point.
25 m combination
Combines the precision stage with interval and timed series into one score.
