Michael Paa is a competitive shooter from Germany. Internationally he competes in Action Pistol, the sport behind Bianchi Cup: tight groups, short times, changing positions, a moving target and falling plates.
He represents Germany and is affiliated, as an athlete, with Bund der Militär- und Polizeischützen e.V. (BDMP). That is membership, not a staff role. Where the team result lists it, he shoots for Team BDMP Germany.
His main divisions are Production and Production Optics, in 9mm Luger. He also works as an instructor and hunter, and runs PAA Shooting Academy.

Regensburg, the range, the academy
Born on 1 March 1989 in Regensburg. Electrical engineering, business management, firearms and ammunition expert, licensed firearms dealer. Founder of PAA Shooting Academy. Volunteer paramedic with the Bavarian Red Cross in Regensburg.
In the sport since 2009 with BDS, and since 2010 with BDMP. From Bavarian championships through German titles to European and world championships — in 2025, to Hamilton.
PAA Shooting Academy
PAA Shooting Academy is a state-recognised training provider in Bavaria. The programme runs from public taster sessions to professional training for sport shooters, hunters, security services and authorities. Tactical formats, medic-shooting courses and industry range days are organised in the Czech Republic among other places.
