Michael Paa shoots small- and large-calibre handguns and long guns. Internationally the focus is Action Pistol / Bianchi Cup, in Production and Production Optics with 9mm Luger, representing Germany and BDMP. Other disciplines include WA1500 / PPC1500, Steel Challenge and ISSA, from club matches through German championships to European and world championships.
Michael Paa is a hunter, including outside Germany. As an instructor he supports hunting schools on firearms, firearms law and ballistics. Through PAA Shooting Academy he trains hunters in the safe handling of firearms.
PAA Shooting Academy is a state-recognised training provider. The programme runs from public taster sessions to professional shooting training for sport shooters, hunters, security services and authorities. Tactical training, medic-shooting courses and industry range days are organised in the Czech Republic. Seminars, firearms and ammunition trade, and state-recognised proficiency courses sit alongside.
